This is one of the best inventions since the computer. As for portability and product, I would recommend anyone looking for that device. This is what you want.

This was a very sophisticated product, and I bought it because of the many features and versatility. I gave only three stars because the support of our customers is worse than nothing! I had problems with the fact that the only application that could buy you do not install. I emailed the company for the tips / information, never a response. I called and was heard on ice for 27 minutes of music to "How important is the call for us," but nobody has answered the call. I could not be installed, the flashmeant that seen with music videos wireless Internet connection on the line was difficult if not impossible. I had my music videos to upload from my computer files and converting the image quality is as big as the screen. The sound comes from one side of the device, the spokesman for the poor sound quality. With stereo headphones the sound is good, but I would have preferred to speakers from both sides of the device. Each function you must purchase a different productAccessory to them, the unit cost near the same amount for all functions of the device does not use.
It 's still fun to have a product, provided that one does not expect to do everything they apparently do. Once that is now in possession since last Christmas, I enjoy web radio, instead of trying to watch video online, watching my videos or listen to MP3 music. With 250 GB of storage space there is a lot - enough to load movies to watch. If they use acould be a decent society with care and sold Apps for them (more than one they have), this smaller version of the IPAD, before Apple invented.

first issue, if you wanted to view videos, you are obliged to buy two downloads for $ 19.99. I felt a nickel and dime to happen scheme. I was very happy with the content providers are disappointed. CinemaNow charges twice the price for movies. I had several TV series on my Amazon video store and some movies. I installed Amazon Unbox. After discovering that the USB connection to the Microsoft Media Player needs to change, I was able to transfer movies and TV series. Several monthsThen I went to move multiple programs, but the Archos 5 has not been detected. I downloaded a new copy from Amazon Unbox, I tried everything to make it work. The Amazon "supported devices" was a complete joke. The first two devices listed page generation Archos and Nokia !?!?! There is a door so that the deceased Microsoft "Play With program. I held my Archos dumped for a newer version, but have not found a substitute that I like

Despite the description of this element as the Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet is not. This is an Archos 5 Check ([...]) Archos website and see the difference. The IMT is a true new product that uses Android, while the Archos 5 is an old, bulky version of the Archos 5 IMT. So, caveat emptor rule as they say. For what you get, I suppose it's a good price, but if you want real connectivity and capacity Android to spend $ 100 extra for the 160 GB IMT. Benoted that both the A5 and A5 IMT are much heavier than an iPhone or Android phone (due to the additional storage capacity internal hard disk is provided that is the compromise - and, of course not, the A5 is a phone) . This is a great portable player for music, photos and video (a kind of DVD players, MP3 players and electronic picture frames in one package, except, of course, have to rip the movie to a file - or buy from Archos' Partner Service - who can play on the A5).Useful for a traveler who does not want to lug a laptop or netbook and simple e-mail requests - but only if the optional docking station (see comment below for the accessories included). Be advised that you use a system based on Lotus e-mail (joint work by e-mail) is likely to restrict the ability to send and receive e-mails (I get the text of the e-mail but not html, and can not be sent to everyone). willing to pay for add-ons if you want full functionality. Accessorieswas added to a base unit and a USB charger (very slowly and do not use if you do not want to replace near a computer - with the A5!) and an adapter that is used only for optional docking stations - so vain if you buy one of these as well. Cons: You're going to live with the battery life is absolutely horrible that this thing offers. It is used less than 5 hours. Worst battery life I've ever used. It 'absolutely terrible for multiple trips. But wait: there is a cure. Archos extension that is used for batteries, battery life can add. That GIP. It 's just the way they earn more money. If they would make a good life in the first place, do not need to sell extras. Another can not do with myArchos to run again after 3 months of normal use. E 'power cycles right now, and I can not do on or off. It only shows the boats of the screen and go no further.
Pros: 250GB is impressive. But I would prefer a reliable product like the ip * d with 160 GB Classic, which has better battery life to go. Nice screen. Then again, I can not see my screen. But it is really good for movies. Sound quality: I'm no audiophile, but it sounded good to me. TheInternet browser is pretty good. Easy to use. Fast. However, there is no plugin support.
In the middle: the user interface. There are parts that can not access without paying for this junk from Archos. It's stupid that they provide interface when you can not use them.
